We Create Employability

CREATE (Career Readiness Education And Training Experience) Employability is a program designed to strengthen a person’s knowledge, interests and preferences so he or she can make informed decisions about future career options. We strive to build strong relationships with our supported individuals, which helps us identify community employment opportunities that are aligned with each person’s unique strengths, interests, abilities and skills.

At VTC, we understand the ability to earn income is vital to helping people feel empowered and capable of living a meaningful, independent life. To achieve this through our pre-vocational services, we provide a range of activities and education through CREATE Employability including self-discovery techniques, interest inventories, researching companies, occupations and industries, business tours /business observations, job interest assessments, job fairs and career planning. If interested in any of our programs, qualified individuals can work with their SEHSC (Southeast Human Service Center) DDPM to place a referral to VTC.
